There are certain moments in a year when you feel the room go quiet—not from the lack of noise, but from the recognition of what really matters.

Thanksgiving does that to us.
It slows us down.
It reminds us that success is never self-powered.
And it brings into focus the people who make our work, our ideas, and our lives better.

This year, when I look back at everything that has happened through Content Crib—from the first mansion in the desert to the cabins, conference rooms, and coastlines that have held our gatherings—I feel one thing more than anything else:

Gratitude.

Deep, overwhelming, humbling gratitude.

Because Content Crib didn’t grow because of a logo, a format, or a concept.
It grew because of you—the people who showed up, leaned in, shared openly, and built something together that none of us could have created on our own.

And this Thanksgiving, that’s what I want to talk about.

Not the events.
Not the speakers.
Not the agendas.

But the people who made everything possible.

The Unexpected Gift of Community

When Content Crib began, I don’t think any of us understood what it would turn into. We thought we were gathering to talk about content, personal branding, business strategy, and digital trust.

But somewhere along the way, something rare happened.

We found each other.

People walked into a room as strangers…
…and walked out as collaborators.

People arrived with questions…
…and left with clarity, confidence, and sometimes an entirely new business.

People showed up wondering if they belonged…
…and discovered an entire tribe that had been waiting for them.

We’ve seen partnerships formed in real time.
We’ve seen ideas born on a Friday morning and revenue collected by Monday.
We’ve seen mentors become friends, friends become co-founders, and co-founders become the kind of people you call in the middle of the night when you need help.

If you want to know what I’m thankful for this year, it’s this:

Content Crib didn’t create a community.
Content Crib revealed one.

It brought together the people who were already out there—builders, thinkers, creatives, physicians, entrepreneurs, sales leaders, founders—people who wanted more from life than just another year of “busy.”

People who wanted to grow.
People who wanted to help others grow.
People who wanted to be part of something bigger than themselves.

This is the community I’m thankful for.

Thankful for the People Who Show Up with Their Whole Selves

At every Content Crib, something predictable happens:
someone walks up to me and says, “I can’t believe I get to be surrounded by people like this.”

And every time, I think:
“I know. Neither can I.”

I’m thankful for the people who show up ready to learn.
The ones willing to ask hard questions.
The ones willing to share openly—even the things that are messy, unfinished, or uncomfortable.

I’m thankful for the physicians who are reshaping how people perceive their profession.
For the entrepreneurs who are reinventing how business is built.
For the sales leaders who aren’t afraid to admit that trust—not tactics—is the real currency in life.

I’m thankful for every single person who has walked into a room with us—whether it was Las Vegas, Bentonville, Portland, or wherever we go next—and decided to be fully themselves.

You’ve created a space where people don’t posture.
They don’t pretend.
They don’t try to outshine one another.

They simply show up—and that’s enough.

Thankful for the Friendships That Weren’t on My Calendar

No one tells you when you start something like Content Crib that you’re about to meet some of the most important people in your life.

But here we are.

This community has given me friendships I didn’t know I needed—but now couldn’t imagine living without.

People I can call for advice.
People I can trust.
People who challenge me and help me see the world differently.
People who tell me when I’m on the right path—and when I need to adjust.

I’ve met people who have become business partners.
People who have become collaborators.
People who have become confidants.
And people I simply look forward to seeing every single time we get together.

You don’t get many chances in life to meet people like this—people who expand your world instead of shrinking it.

And I am thankful for every one of you.

Thankful for the Work We’re Going to Do Together

If you’ve been to Content Crib, you already know this community has momentum. The kind that compounds. The kind that grows faster than we expect. The kind that reminds us that when we are surrounded by the right people, “impossible” suddenly becomes a much smaller word.

We’ve had new companies formed because two people met at Content Crib and realized they were meant to build something together.

We’ve had projects launched, partnerships created, and visions clarified.

We’ve had people walk into a room unsure of their next step—and walk out with their entire next chapter mapped out.

And this is what I’m thankful for:

We are just getting started.

There are more projects coming.
More partnerships forming.
More business ideas emerging.
More people stepping into their purpose.
More doors opening because someone at Content Crib held it open for them.

This community isn’t slowing down.
If anything, it’s accelerating.

And to be honest, I’m just grateful to be part of the ride.

Thankful for the Courage to Build Something Together

Every person who has attended Content Crib shared one thing in common—even if they didn’t realize it:

Courage.

It takes courage to invest in yourself.
It takes courage to walk into a room not knowing anyone.
It takes courage to share your story.
It takes courage to step into something bigger than where you’ve been.

And this community is full of people who choose courage over comfort, again and again.

For that, I’m thankful.

Because you showed me, over and over again, that people don’t come to Content Crib to consume.

They come to contribute.

They come to build.
To help.
To connect.
To grow.
To lift each other higher.

This is the work that matters.
This is the work that lasts.
This is the work that changes lives.

A Thanksgiving Invitation

If you’re reading this and you’ve never been to Content Crib—trust me when I say this:

You don’t join us to “learn about content.”
You join us to discover what happens when you put yourself in a room filled with people who believe in possibility.

You join us to be part of something that genuinely cares about your success—personally, professionally, creatively, spiritually.

You join us to meet people who will shape the next chapter of your life in ways you can’t predict but will be grateful for.

And if you’ve attended before, you already know why you keep coming back.

This isn’t about an event.
This is about a community.
A family.
A network of people who want to see you win—and are willing to help you get there.

For all of that, I am thankful.

To Everyone in the Content Crib Community…

Thank you for trusting us.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for bringing your ideas, your stories, your struggles, your hopes, and your voice.

Thank you for being the kind of people who make this more than a gathering.

Thank you for reminding me, time and time again, that 1 + 1 really does equal 3.

And thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey.

Happy Thanksgiving,
Eric
